Web Development · WordPress, SEO-First
Websites built to rank from day one.
Most websites are designed first and retrofitted for SEO later — expensively. We build the other way around: WordPress sites with clean markup, full schema, and Core Web Vitals in the green from launch, designed so both search engines and AI systems understand them instantly. The site you’re reading is the standard we build to.
Why your website is quietly costing you rankings and enquiries
Most business websites were designed first and optimised afterwards, which is the expensive order. The result is a site that looks acceptable, loads slowly on the phones most of your visitors use, and gives search engines very little to work with.
You usually cannot see the damage directly. You see it as rankings that will not move regardless of content spend, and visitors who arrive and leave.
| What is holding you back | What we do about it |
|---|---|
| Page-builder bloat (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery) | We rebuild on a lightweight block-based stack — a tenth of the weight, same editing freedom |
| Slow on mobile | Core Web Vitals brought green in field data, not just lab scores |
| No schema markup | Organization, Service, FAQ and Article markup wired into the templates |
| Content your team cannot edit without calling an agency | Native editor, documented, with training so you own it |
| Rebuilds that lost rankings | Full URL mapping and 301s tested before cutover |
| Invisible to AI systems | Answer-first layouts, llms.txt and AI crawler access shipped by default |
A client site we built loads in under 1.5 seconds and converts at 8%, with a marked drop in bounce rate and a steady climb in organic rankings since launch. The site you are reading now is the same standard — check its speed yourself.
Quick self-check: is your site working against you?
- Your site takes more than three seconds to load on a phone
- You need a developer to change a paragraph
- Your rankings have not moved despite investing in content
- You are on a page builder and plugin updates regularly break things
- Your site has no schema markup
- A redesign is coming and nobody has mentioned redirects
Three or more and your website is a bottleneck. The free audit tells you whether yours needs a rebuild or just a technical cleanup — and those are very different bills.
Find out whether you need a rebuild or just a cleanup
We check your speed in field data, your technical health, your schema coverage and your editing setup, then tell you honestly which of the two you need. Plenty of sites do not need rebuilding.
What’s included
What an SEO-first build includes.
WordPress, done properly
Lightweight theme, native editor, no page-builder bloat. Fast to load, easy for your team to edit, cheap to maintain.
Core Web Vitals
Green scores on launch day — speed is a ranking factor, a conversion factor, and the first thing visitors feel.
Schema built in
Organization, Service, FAQ, and Article markup wired into the templates, not bolted on with plugins later.
AI-ready structure
Answer-first layouts, llms.txt, and AI crawler access — so the new half of search can read you too.
Migration without losses
URL mapping and redirects handled so a rebuild never costs you the rankings you already own.
Training & handover
Your team learns to edit everything. You own the site, the hosting, and every account — no hostage situations.
Why page builders quietly tax your rankings
Elementor, Divi and their cousins ship megabytes of CSS and JavaScript on every page, drag Core Web Vitals into the yellow-red zone, and lock your content into shortcode soup that survives only as long as the plugin does. Google’s page-experience signals punish exactly this.
Our builds use the native WordPress block editor on a lightweight theme: the same visual editing your team wants, at a fraction of the weight, with content stored as clean portable HTML.
Our build standards, in writing
- Core Web Vitals green on mobile at launch, verified in field data — not just lab scores
- Semantic HTML with one H1 per page and a correct heading hierarchy
- JSON-LD schema wired into templates: Organization, Service, FAQ, Article, Breadcrumb
- llms.txt and AI-crawler access configured, so the new half of search can read you
- A full URL redirect map on migrations, tested before cutover
- Editor training and documentation — your team updates content without calling us
Redesigning without losing what you have
Migration is where most redesigns quietly destroy years of SEO. The discipline is not complicated, but it has to be done: a full URL inventory, a 301 map, schema parity, and a pre-launch crawl comparison against the old site.
Done properly, rankings usually improve after launch because the technical foundation is better. Done casually, a redesign is the single most self-inflicted SEO disaster we get hired to repair.
Which of these are you?
The right answer is often cheaper than a rebuild. We will say so.
| Your situation | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Site is fine, just slow | Technical cleanup and performance work — no rebuild needed |
| Looks dated, structure sound | Design refresh on the existing architecture, content preserved |
| Page-builder site breaking regularly | Rebuild on a lightweight stack, content migrated, URLs preserved |
| Growing e-commerce | WooCommerce build with product schema and catalogue-scale technical work |
| Multi-location or multi-language | Template architecture designed for scale, with hreflang where needed |
If your site can be fixed rather than replaced, that is what we will quote for.

Building for India, the USA, or both
Indian audiences are mobile-first on mid-range devices over variable networks — performance budgets matter more than pixel flourishes, and WhatsApp click-to-chat is a conversion requirement rather than a nicety. US audiences bring higher desktop share, higher design expectations, and accessibility (WCAG) as an increasing legal consideration. Serving both, as many of our clients do, means fast global hosting, careful font and image budgets, and currency and contact routing by market — decisions made at architecture time, not patched afterwards.
Client words — SwiftServe
“The web development team built us a site that loads in under 1.5 seconds and converts at 8%. We’ve seen a dramatic drop in bounce rate and a steady climb in organic rankings since launch.” — Ranjit Kumar, Founder, SwiftServe
What does it cost?
SEO-ready WordPress business sites start at ₹60,000 ($1,199). E-commerce, multilingual and large migration projects are quoted after scoping — fixed price before we start, always. See the pricing page for context alongside our retainers. The number that matters more is total cost of ownership: a cheap page-builder site costs more within two years in plugins, speed remediation and the SEO retrofit than building correctly once.
Who this works for — and who should not buy it
We would rather scope you out than take money for something that will not work.
Strong fit
- Your website is central to how you win business
- You want to own and edit the site rather than rent it
- You care about speed and search performance, not just how it looks
- You are planning a rebuild and want to keep the rankings you have
Poor fit
- You need a five-page brochure for the cheapest possible price — a template will serve you better
- You are committed to Shopify or Webflow; we will do the SEO but will not pretend platform expertise we lack
- You want a site nobody will update after launch
- You expect a rebuild alone to fix rankings — it is the foundation, not the campaign
Questions
Everything clients ask before starting.
How much does a website cost?
SEO-ready WordPress builds start at ₹60,000 / $1,199 for a business site; larger builds are quoted after a scoping call. The price is fixed before we start — no surprise invoices.
Will a rebuild hurt my existing rankings?
Not if migration is done properly — that’s exactly what URL mapping and 301 redirects are for. It’s a standard part of every rebuild we do, not an optional extra. Done right, rankings usually improve after launch because the technical foundation is better.
Can you work with my existing site instead of rebuilding?
Often, yes — and we’ll tell you honestly which is cheaper. Plenty of sites need a technical cleanup, not a rebuild. The free audit is where we make that call together.
How long does a build take?
A standard business site: 3–5 weeks from kickoff to launch, content included. E-commerce or migration-heavy projects: 6–10 weeks. The honest variable is feedback speed — we give you a timeline with named milestones and hold our side of it.
Will a redesign hurt our rankings?
Not if migration is done properly — URL mapping, 301s, schema parity and a pre-launch crawl comparison. It is a standard part of every rebuild we do, not an optional extra.
Do you build on Shopify or other platforms?
Our specialisation is WordPress and WooCommerce, where we can guarantee our performance and SEO standards. For Shopify-committed businesses we will do the SEO layer and advise honestly on the build.
Who handles hosting and maintenance?
Your hosting, your account, our recommendation if you want one. Maintenance plans are optional and never a hostage arrangement — documentation means any competent developer can take over.
